Privacy Policy — Anunnaki: The Descent

Anunnaki: The Descent (the "App") is developed and published by Amun Studios LLC ("Amun Studios," "we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what information the App does and does not handle, what our advertising partner collects, and what choices you have.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

The short version

  • We have no accounts, no logins, and no servers. We never see your game data.

  • All of your progress — floors reached, tablets collected, gold, trial stars, and settings — is stored locally on your device.

  • The App displays non-personalized advertisements through Google AdMob. Ads are not targeted using a profile of your interests, and the App never asks permission to track you.

  • There are no in-app purchases. The App is free, and everything in it is earned by playing.

  • The App is intended for players 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13.

1. Information we collect

Amun Studios collects no personal information through this App.

We operate no servers, no databases, and no user accounts for the App. There is no sign-up, no email capture, no cloud save, no leaderboard submission, and no messaging feature. Nothing you do in the App is transmitted to us.

Information stored on your device

The App saves the following locally, using your device's own storage:

  • Run and campaign progress (deepest floor reached, gates unsealed)

  • Sealing tablets discovered and their contents

  • Gold balance and items or weapons acquired

  • Trials of the Gods results and star ratings

  • Audio, haptics, and other in-app settings

This information stays on your device. It is not readable by us. It is deleted when you delete the App, unless it has been included in a backup you created yourself through iCloud, Google One, or a similar service — those backups are governed by Apple's or Google's privacy policies, not this one.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob, a service operated by Google LLC. Google acts as an independent controller of the data it collects through its advertising services.

The App is configured to request non-personalized ads only. Non-personalized ads are selected based on general context — such as the app they appear in and your coarse, IP-derived location — rather than on a profile built from your interests or your behavior across other apps and websites. The App does not use your data for interest-based targeting, does not build an advertising profile of you, and does not present Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, because it does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

Even for non-personalized ads, Google and its partners still process a limited set of information in order to deliver an ad, cap how often you see it, count impressions, and detect fraud:

  • A device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), used for frequency capping, aggregate reporting, and invalid-traffic detection — not for interest-based targeting

  • IP address, and the approximate (country- or region-level) location derived from it

  • Device model, operating system version, language, and similar technical information

  • Ad interaction data, such as impressions and clicks

  • Signals used to detect invalid traffic and advertising fraud

Amun Studios does not receive any of this information about you as an individual. We see only aggregate, anonymous reporting in the AdMob dashboard, such as total impressions and revenue.

Your advertising choices

On iOS and iPadOS: because the App requests non-personalized ads only, it does not display a tracking permission prompt. You can review or change device-wide tracking settings at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

On Android: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of ads personalization in Settings → Google → Ads. If you delete the Advertising ID, apps receive a string of zeros instead.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland: where required by Google's EU user consent policy, the App presents a consent form provided by Google's User Messaging Platform before ads are requested. You may withdraw or change your consent at any time from the privacy option in the App's Settings screen, where available, or by using the device-level controls above.

3. Analytics and crash reporting

The App does not include any third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK.

Apple and Google provide us with aggregate, de-identified statistics about the App through App Store Connect and the Google Play Console — for example, download counts, territory breakdowns, and crash traces. These reports are produced by the platforms, are not tied to any individual user by us, and are governed by Apple's and Google's own privacy policies.

4. Children's privacy

The App is rated for players aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Because the App is not a child-directed service, it is not enrolled in Google Play's Designed for Families program or Apple's Kids Category.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, contact us at info@amun-studios.com and we will act on the report. In practice, the App provides no mechanism for any user to submit personal information to us.

5. Your privacy rights

Because Amun Studios holds no personal information about you, there is nothing on our side to access, correct, export, or delete. You can remove all locally stored game data at any time by deleting the App from your device.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR): you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability. The App serves non-personalized ads only. Where consent is required for the storage of or access to information on your device, the legal basis is your consent, collected through Google's User Messaging Platform and withdrawable at any time. For frequency capping, impression measurement, and fraud prevention, the legal basis is legitimate interests in operating and protecting an ad-supported app. Requests concerning advertising data should be directed to Google, which controls that data; you may also contact us and we will point you to the correct process. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident (CCPA / CPRA): Amun Studios does not sell your personal information, and we do not receive personal information about you from the App. Because the App requests non-personalized ads only, it does not engage in "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising as that term is defined under California law. You may still limit the use of your advertising identifier through the device controls described in Section 2. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Other jurisdictions: residents of other U.S. states and countries with comparable privacy laws may have similar rights. Contact us at info@amun-studios.com and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.

6. Data retention

Amun Studios retains no personal data, because none is collected. Game data persists on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Data collected by Google through AdMob is retained according to Google's own retention practices, described in the Google Privacy Policy.

7. Security

No personal information is transmitted from the App to Amun Studios, which removes the most common category of risk. Locally stored game data is protected by your device's operating system, its sandboxing model, and any passcode or biometric lock you have enabled. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data held on your device or processed by third parties.

8. International data transfers

Amun Studios does not transfer your data anywhere, because we do not receive it. Google may process advertising data on servers located in the United States and other countries, subject to the safeguards described in the Google Privacy Policy.

9. Third-party services

The App relies on the following third parties:

The App contains no social media SDKs, no third-party login providers, no attribution or user-acquisition SDKs, and no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.

The App has no in-app purchases and no subscriptions, so no payment information of any kind is requested, processed, or stored.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the App, our advertising setup, or applicable law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at this URL. Material changes will also be noted in the App's release notes. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
