1. OVERVIEW

Astro Pup: Journey ("the App", "we", "us") is a casual arcade game published by Amun Studios. This Privacy Policy explains what happens to information when you play the App.

The short version: Amun Studios does not operate any servers that collect, store, or process your personal data. Your scores, unlocked customizations, and in-game currency live only on your device. The one exception is advertising — the App shows ads through Google AdMob, and Google's SDK collects certain technical data on its own behalf in order to serve those ads. Details on that are in Section 4.

2. INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

To make the App work, it saves certain information locally on your phone or tablet, using standard on-device storage. This information is never transmitted to Amun Studios and we have no way of seeing it. It includes:

- Your current and best game scores

- In-game currency balances (stars earned during runs)

- Unlocked and equipped customization items (fur, suits, scarves, and similar cosmetic items in the Space Closet)

- Your rescued pup roster

- App preferences and settings (for example, sound or notification toggles, if offered)

If you delete the App, or clear its data through your device settings, this information is permanently removed. We cannot recover it, because we never had a copy of it in the first place.

3. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

Amun Studios does not require an account to play Astro Pup: Journey, and we do not collect, store, or have access to:

- Your name, email address, or other contact details

- Precise location data

- Photos, contacts, or other device content

- Payment or billing information

- Any gameplay data on our own servers — we don't operate any

If a future update introduces optional features that require collecting information directly (for example, cloud save or a leaderboard), we will update this policy before that feature is enabled and, where required, ask for your consent.

4. ADVERTISING & GOOGLE ADMOB

The App displays ads served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising network. AdMob's software development kit (SDK) runs on your device and communicates directly with Google in order to select and deliver ads. This happens independently of Amun Studios — we do not see or store the data AdMob collects.

Depending on your device, region, and privacy settings, AdMob may collect technical information such as:

- Advertising identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA or Android's Advertising ID)

- IP address and coarse, approximate location derived from it

- Device type, operating system, and language settings

- App usage and interaction data relevant to ad delivery and measurement

This processing is governed by Google's own privacy policy and advertising policies, not by Amun Studios. We encourage you to review them directly:

Amun Studios does not sell your data. We don't have any to sell — the ad-related data described above is collected by Google directly, under Google's own privacy practices.

5. TRACKING & AD CHOICES

You can limit or opt out of personalized advertising at any time:

On iOS: When you first open the App, iOS may show an App Tracking Transparency prompt asking whether the App can track you across other companies' apps and websites. You can choose "Ask App Not to Track," and you can change your answer later under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. You can also turn on Limit Ad Tracking under Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.

On Android: You can opt out of personalized ads and reset or delete your advertising ID under Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact path varies by device and Android version).

Opting out reduces ad personalization but you will generally still see ads in the App, since advertising supports the App remaining free.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Astro Pup: Journey is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because the App uses Google AdMob, if you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through the App or its ads, please contact us at the email address in Section 11 so we can look into it. Parents can also use the device-level controls described in Section 5, and platform-level parental controls (such as Screen Time on iOS or Family Link on Android), to manage a child's use of the App and exposure to ads.

7. DATA SECURITY

Because gameplay data stays on your device rather than passing through our servers, there is no Amun Studios–operated database of your information to secure or breach. The security of on-device data depends on the security of your device itself — we recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date and using a passcode or biometric lock.

Data collected independently by Google AdMob is secured under Google's own infrastructure and practices, described in the policies linked in Section 4.

8. YOUR RIGHTS & CHOICES

Because we don't hold personal data about you, most data-subject requests (access, correction, deletion, portability) don't apply to Amun Studios directly — there's nothing on our servers to access or delete. You remain in full control of your on-device data:

- To reset your progress: clear the App's data or storage through your device's app settings.

- To delete everything: uninstall the App.

- To manage ad data held by Google: use the controls in Section 5, or visit Google's own account and ad settings tools directly.

If you have questions about how Google's advertising services process your information, Google is the appropriate data controller to contact for that specific data, though we're happy to help point you in the right direction.

9. INTERNATIONAL USERS

Astro Pup: Journey is available globally. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, or another region with its own data protection law, the same principle applies: Amun Studios itself processes no personal data, so our own footprint under laws like the GDPR or CCPA is minimal. Google acts as an independent controller/processor for the advertising data described in Section 4, and provides its own mechanisms for exercising regional privacy rights — see the Google policies linked above.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if we add a new feature that changes what data is collected. We'll update the "Effective date" at the top of this page when we do. If a change is significant, we'll make reasonable efforts to bring it to your attention, such as an in-app notice.
