Privacy Policy — Kaiju Rodeo
Effective Date: August 14, 2026 Last Updated: August 14, 2026
Amun Studios LLC ("Amun Studios," "we," "us," or "our") developed and publishes Kaiju Rodeo (the "App" or the "Game"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is handled, and the choices available to you.
We built Kaiju Rodeo to be private by default. We do not require an account, we do not ask for your name or email, and we do not operate servers that store your gameplay. The one exception is advertising, which is described in detail below.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Summary

2. Information We Do Not Collect
Amun Studios LLC does not collect, receive, transmit, or store any of the following:
Your name, email address, phone number, or mailing address
Account credentials, usernames, or passwords (the App has no accounts)
Precise GPS location
Contacts, calendar entries, photos, camera access, or microphone access
Health, biometric, or financial information
Payment or credit card information (the App has no in-app purchases)
Any content you create, since the App has no user-generated content, chat, or social features
We do not operate any backend server, database, or cloud storage for this App. There is no place on our infrastructure where your gameplay data exists.
3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
Kaiju Rodeo saves a small amount of data directly on your device so the Game can remember where you left off. This includes:
Game progress — stages completed, sectors unlocked, and current position
Scores and records — high scores and best run results
Settings and preferences — audio, music, haptics, and accessibility toggles
Session state — lives remaining and in-progress run data
Advertising consent state — whether you granted or declined tracking permission, and any applicable consent choices
This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded, backed up to our systems, synced across devices, or accessible to Amun Studios LLC or any third party. It is stored using standard local storage provided by your device's operating system.
Deleting this data: Uninstalling the App permanently removes all locally stored game data from your device. Depending on your device settings, you may also be able to clear it via your operating system's app storage controls. Because this data exists only on your device, we cannot recover it for you once it is deleted.
Note that if you have enabled device-level backup services (such as iCloud Backup or Google Android Backup), your operating system may include App data in those backups. Those backups are governed by Apple's or Google's privacy policies, not ours, and we do not have access to them.
4. Advertising — Google AdMob
Kaiju Rodeo is free to play and is supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC. AdMob is the only third-party software development kit included in the App.
What AdMob may collect
To serve ads, measure their performance, and prevent fraud, Google and its advertising partners may collect and process:
Advertising identifiers — the Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS, or the Google Advertising ID (GAID) on Android
IP address, which may be used to infer approximate (city or region level) location
Device information — device model, operating system version, language, screen dimensions, and carrier
Ad interaction data — which ads were shown, whether an ad was viewed, clicked, or dismissed, and how long it was displayed
App usage signals related to ad delivery, such as session timing and frequency capping data
Diagnostic and crash data related to the ad SDK
This information is collected by Google directly through the AdMob SDK embedded in the App. Amun Studios LLC does not receive this raw data. We have access only to aggregate, anonymized reporting — for example, total impressions or estimated revenue — which cannot identify any individual user.
How to review Google's practices
Google's handling of this data is governed by its own policies, which we encourage you to review:
Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Google Ads Settings: https://adssettings.google.com
Your advertising choices
On iOS and iPadOS: The App presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before requesting any ads with tracking enabled. If you decline, the App requests non-personalized ads. You can change this decision at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or disable it globally by turning off "Allow Apps to Request to Track."
On Android: You can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalized ads under Settings → Google → Ads (the exact path varies by manufacturer and Android version). Selecting "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" will cause the App to serve non-personalized ads.
Important: Opting out of personalized advertising does not remove ads from the App. It means the ads you see will be less relevant to you, selected based on general context rather than your inferred interests. The App remains free either way.
Non-personalized ads
Where required by law or by your expressed choice, the App requests non-personalized ads. Non-personalized ads still require limited data — such as approximate location derived from IP address and basic device information — for ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and aggregate reporting.
5. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our and our advertising partner's legal bases for processing are:
Processing activity Legal basis Storing game progress on your device Necessary to provide the service you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) Serving non-personalized ads Legitimate interest in funding a free app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) Serving personalized ads and using advertising identifiers Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) Fraud prevention and security Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
Where consent is the legal basis, you may withdraw it at any time using the device controls described in Section 4 or through any consent management prompt shown in the App. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your personal information, because we do not collect it.
The only data flow out of the App is to Google LLC through the AdMob SDK, as described in Section 4. Google may in turn share data with its advertising partners in accordance with its own policies.
We may disclose information in the limited circumstances where we are legally compelled to do so — for example, in response to a valid subpoena, court order, or lawful government request — but as a practical matter we hold no user data that could be produced in response to such a request.
If Amun Studios LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, any information associated with the App would be handled consistently with this Policy, and we would provide notice of any material change through the App or the app store listing.
7. Data Retention
Local game data: Retained on your device until you delete the App or clear its storage. We do not control or influence this retention because we never receive the data.
Advertising data: Retained by Google in accordance with Google's own data retention practices. Refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Amun Studios LLC records: We retain only aggregate, non-identifying ad performance reporting for business and accounting purposes.
Support correspondence: If you email us at info@amun-studios.com, we retain that correspondence for as long as needed to resolve your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for our records. We use it only to respond to you and never for marketing.
8. Children's Privacy
Kaiju Rodeo is rated for users 13 years of age and older and is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not include features designed to appeal primarily to children, is not listed in any children's category, and does not participate in Google Play's Designed for Families program or Apple's Kids Category.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at info@amun-studios.com and we will take appropriate action. Because the App does not collect personal information, this would typically be limited to advising on device-level advertising controls and app removal.
Parents and guardians of users aged 13 to 17 may wish to review the advertising controls described in Section 4 and the parental control features offered by Apple and Google.
9. Your Privacy Rights
California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to request correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Our disclosure: Amun Studios LLC does not collect personal information from App users, does not sell personal information, and does not use or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose requiring a limitation right.
Advertising identifiers processed by Google through the AdMob SDK may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA. You can exercise your opt-out by using the device-level advertising controls described in Section 4, which is the effective and complete mechanism for this App. You may also contact us at info@amun-studios.com with any question about this disclosure.
EEA, UK, and Swiss residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Because we do not hold personal data about you, we generally cannot fulfill access or deletion requests directly — there is nothing on our side to access or delete. For data processed by Google in connection with advertising, please direct requests to Google using the resources in Section 4, and use the device-level controls to withdraw consent.
Other jurisdictions
Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws, and residents of other countries with applicable data protection regimes, may have comparable rights. The disclosures above apply equally. Contact us at info@amun-studios.com with any request and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Making a request
Email info@amun-studios.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." Please describe your request and the jurisdiction you are writing from. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. Because we do not maintain user accounts, we may be unable to verify your identity in connection with a specific device, and we will explain this if it applies.
10. Security
Because Kaiju Rodeo stores game data only on your device and transmits nothing to us, the primary safeguard for your information is the security of your own device. We recommend keeping your operating system current and using a device passcode.
Data transmitted between the App and Google's advertising servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International Data Transfers
Amun Studios LLC is based in California, United States. If you use the App from outside the United States, be aware that any data processed through the advertising SDK may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where Google and its partners operate. These jurisdictions may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. Google implements safeguards for such transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable; refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.
12. Third-Party Links
The App may contain occasional links to external websites, such as our support page or the app store listing. Advertisements displayed in the App also link to third-party destinations we do not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any third-party site or advertiser. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, in our practices, or in applicable law. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document and post the current version at our published Privacy Policy URL.
If we make a material change — for example, if we begin collecting a category of information we do not collect today — we will provide prominent notice within the App or through the app store listing before the change takes effect, and where required by law we will obtain your consent.
Your continued use of the App after an updated Policy takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
