Privacy Policy — Knock It Off: Cat Chaos
Effective date: August 29, 2026 Last updated: August 29, 2026
Knock It Off: Cat Chaos ("the App," "the Game") is developed and published by Amun Studios LLC ("Amun Studios," "we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and the choices you have.
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
Quick summary
We do not operate servers, accounts, or user databases for this App.
All of your game data — progress, scores, settings — is stored on your device only. It is never uploaded to us.
We do not collect your name, email address, or contact information through the App.
The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. Google and its ad partners collect device and advertising identifiers to serve and measure those ads. This is the only data leaving your device.
The App is intended for users 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13.
Information stored on your device
The App saves the following locally, using standard device storage:
Game progress, level completion, and unlocked content
High scores and personal statistics
Sound, music, haptics, and other app settings
This data never leaves your device. Amun Studios has no server, no account system, and no ability to access, retrieve, or restore it. Uninstalling the App, or clearing its storage in your device settings, permanently deletes all of it.
There is no cloud save, no cross-device sync, and no backup held by us. If you switch devices or reinstall, your progress starts over.
Information you provide directly
None through the App. If you email us at info@amun-studios.com, we will have whatever information you choose to include in that message, and we use it only to respond to you.
Information collected by our advertising partner
To keep the App free, we display ads served by Google AdMob. To deliver, cap, and measure those ads, Google and its advertising partners may collect and process:
Advertising identifiers (the Google Advertising ID on Android; the Identifier for Advertisers on iOS, where permitted)
IP address and coarse, IP-derived location
Device information such as model, operating system version, language, and screen characteristics
Ad interaction data such as impressions, clicks, and time spent viewing an ad
Signals used for frequency capping and ad fraud prevention
This processing is carried out by Google, not by us. Amun Studios receives only aggregated performance reporting, such as total impressions and revenue. We do not receive data that identifies you individually, and we cannot connect ad data back to your gameplay.
How information is used
To save and restore your progress on your device
To display advertisements and keep the App free to download
To respond to support requests you send us
To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and technical misuse of the advertising system
We do not build advertising profiles ourselves, and we do not sell your personal information for money.
Advertising and your choices
Ads in the App are provided by Google AdMob. Google's handling of this data is described in its own policies:
Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
On iOS: Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework governs access to the advertising identifier. If you decline the tracking prompt, or have "Allow Apps to Request to Track" turned off, the App and its ad partners will not access the identifier for tracking, and you will see non-personalized ads instead. You can change this at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
On Android: You can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization under Settings → Google → Ads. The exact path varies by device and Android version.
In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland: Before serving personalized ads, the App presents a consent message through Google's User Messaging Platform. You may consent, refuse, or manage your choices, and you can reopen the privacy options at any time from the App's settings menu. Refusing consent means you will see non-personalized ads rather than no ads.
Non-personalized ads still involve limited processing, including contextual signals and coarse location derived from IP address, for frequency capping, reporting, and fraud prevention.
Legal bases for processing (EEA, UK, Switzerland)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
Consent for personalized advertising.
Legitimate interests for non-personalized advertising, fraud prevention, and security, balanced against your rights and freedoms.
Contract for providing the game features you request.
You may withdraw consent at any time through the App's privacy options, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information relating to you; to object to or restrict processing; to data portability; and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Because the App has no server component and stores your gameplay data solely on your device, we hold no records tied to you and generally cannot locate any. In practice, you delete everything the App has saved by uninstalling it or clearing its data in your device settings. For advertising data, exercise your rights through the Google controls linked above and through Google directly.
To make a request or ask a question, email info@amun-studios.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
California residents: Under the CCPA/CPRA, we do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. However, allowing personalized advertising may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out at any time using the advertising controls described above, or by emailing us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Children's privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Ad requests are configured with an appropriate ad content rating and are not tagged as child-directed under COPPA, because the App is intended for a general teen and adult audience.
If you believe a child under 13 has used the App and that personal information was processed, contact us at info@amun-studios.com.
Data retention
We maintain no user database, so there is nothing tied to you for us to retain. Data stored locally on your device persists until you delete the App or clear its storage. Advertising partners retain data according to their own retention policies, linked above. Support emails are retained only as long as needed to resolve your request.
International transfers
We do not transfer your data anywhere, because we do not receive it. Our advertising partner operates globally, and information processed for advertising may be transferred to and stored in countries other than your own, including the United States, under that partner's own safeguards.
Security
The App stores data locally and operates no accounts, servers, or network storage, which removes most categories of data-breach risk. Your local game data is protected by your device's own security, so we recommend keeping a device passcode and current operating system updates. No method of storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-party services used by the App
Google AdMob (advertising) — https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Apple App Store / Google Play (distribution)
No other third-party SDK in the App collects or transmits your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves or as legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated in the App where required.
