Privacy Policy — Tideguard: Match
Effective Date: August 13, 2026 Last Updated: August 13, 2026
Amun Studios LLC ("Amun Studios," "we," "us," or "our") develops and operates the mobile application Tideguard: Match (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is and is not collected when you use the App, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
By downloading or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Summary
We want to be plain about this up front:
We do not operate a server for this App. Amun Studios does not receive, store, or have access to any information about you or your gameplay.
Your game data stays on your device. Level progress, high scores, and settings are written to your device's local storage and are never transmitted anywhere.
No account is required. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or a password, and there is nothing to register for.
The App does display advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob is a third-party service that collects certain technical and device information in order to serve and measure ads. This is the only data collection that occurs in connection with the App, and it is performed by Google, not by us.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
Amun Studios does not collect, receive, transmit, sell, or store any of the following:
Names, email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, or usernames
Passwords or authentication credentials
Contacts, calendars, photos, camera, microphone, or file system contents
Precise GPS location
Payment or financial information
Health, biometric, or sensitive personal information
Social media profiles or third-party account connections
The App does not request runtime permissions for your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or precise location.
3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The App saves the following to your device's local storage so that your game persists between sessions:
Level progress and completion state
High scores and best move counts
Audio, haptic, and display preferences
Tutorial completion flags
This information never leaves your device. It is not backed up to our systems, is not associated with any identifier we hold, and is not accessible to us. If your device or operating system performs its own automatic backup (for example, iCloud Backup or Android Auto Backup), that backup is governed by Apple's or Google's privacy policies, not ours.
Deleting this data: Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored game data. The App may also include an in-app option to reset progress.
4. Advertising — Google AdMob
The App is free and is supported by advertising provided through Google AdMob, a service operated by Google LLC.
To serve, cap, and measure advertisements, Google and its advertising partners may automatically collect and process:
Advertising identifiers — the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS or the Android Advertising ID (AAID)
Device information — device model, operating system version, language, screen dimensions, mobile network and carrier information
IP address, and coarse geographic region derived from it (typically country- or city-level)
Ad interaction data — which ads were requested, displayed, viewed, or clicked, and when
Diagnostic and performance data relating to ad delivery
This information is collected directly by Google through the AdMob SDK embedded in the App. Amun Studios does not receive this data in an identifiable form. We are able to view only aggregate, anonymized performance reporting in the AdMob console, such as total impressions and estimated revenue.
Google's handling of this information is governed by:
Google Privacy Policy — https://policies.google.com/privacy
How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services — https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Google Advertising Policies — https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Your advertising choices
iOS: Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking to control whether apps may request permission to track. You may also disable personalized ads under Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
Android: Go to Settings → Google → Ads to reset or delete your advertising ID, or to opt out of ad personalization.
EEA, UK, and Switzerland: The App presents a consent form through the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized ads are served. You may withdraw or change your consent at any time from the App's settings screen.
Opting out of personalized advertising does not remove ads from the App; it means the ads you see will be less relevant to you.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, it is not listed in Apple's Kids Category, and it is not enrolled in Google Play's Designed for Families program.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has used the App in a manner that resulted in the collection of personal information, please contact us at info@amun-studios.com and we will take appropriate steps.
For users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the App may be configured to request non-personalized advertising for users below the applicable age of digital consent.
6. Data Retention
Because Amun Studios does not collect or receive your data, we retain nothing about you. Locally stored game data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Data collected by Google through AdMob is retained according to Google's own retention practices, described in the Google Privacy Policy linked above.
7. Data Security
Game data is stored using the standard local storage mechanisms provided by iOS and Android, protected by your device's own security controls, including device passcode and operating-system-level encryption. Because no gameplay data is transmitted off your device, there is no transmission of your game data for an attacker to intercept.
Network requests made by the AdMob SDK are transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
No method of electronic storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Privacy Rights
California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to request correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.
Amun Studios does not sell or share your personal information. We do not receive personal information from the App to sell. The sharing of advertising identifiers with Google for cross-context behavioral advertising may constitute "sharing" under the CPRA; you may opt out by disabling ad personalization in your device settings as described in Section 4, or by declining consent where a consent form is presented.
To make a rights request, contact info@amun-studios.com.
EEA / UK residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data, and to object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Because Amun Studios does not collect or hold personal data from App users, requests concerning advertising data should be directed to Google, which acts as the controller or joint controller for that processing. Where consent is the legal basis (personalized advertising), you may withdraw it at any time via the consent settings in the App. Where we rely on legitimate interests (serving non-personalized ads to keep the App free), you may object as described above.
Other jurisdictions
Residents of other U.S. states and other countries with comprehensive privacy laws may have comparable rights. Contact us at the address below and we will respond consistent with applicable law.
9. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party service:
Service Provider Purpose Privacy Policy Google AdMob Google LLC Advertising delivery and measurement https://policies.google.com/privacy
The App does not integrate analytics platforms, crash reporting services beyond those bundled with AdMob, social media SDKs, or attribution networks. Distribution platforms (the Apple App Store and Google Play) collect their own data regarding downloads and, where applicable, device compatibility; that collection is governed by Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies.
10. International Data Transfers
Any data collected by Google through AdMob may be processed on servers located in the United States or in other countries. Such transfers are governed by Google's data transfer mechanisms, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required. Amun Studios does not itself transfer any user data internationally, as it does not collect any.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, to the third-party services it uses, or to applicable law. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will additionally be communicated through an in-app notice or an update to the App's store listing.
Your continued use of the App after an updated Privacy Policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
