These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the xZodiaq mobile application (the "App") provided by Amun Studios LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, where required by law.

2. Entertainment Purposes Only

xZodiaq provides astrological content — including birth charts, horoscopes, compatibility readings, affirmations, and "lucky" suggestions — for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only. Astrology is not a science. The content does not constitute and is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind, including medical, psychological, legal, financial, or relationship advice.

You should not make important decisions based on the content of the App. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional for such matters. You use the App and rely on its content at your own discretion and risk.

3. Your Content and Data

The App lets you enter details such as your name, birth date, birth time, and birth place, and optionally details of another person for compatibility. As described in our Privacy Policy, this information is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to or stored by us. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for the security of your device.

You represent that if you enter another person's details for a compatibility reading, you have any necessary permission to do so.

4. License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on a device you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App;

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;

  • Use the App in any unlawful manner or in violation of these Terms; or

  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or related systems.

5. Intellectual Property

The App and all associated content, features, designs, text, graphics, and software (excluding data you enter) are owned by Amun Studios LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or branding.

6. Advertising and Third-Party Services

The App is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob and uses the Open-Meteo Geocoding API for city lookups during onboarding. These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of third-party services, and your use of them is at your own risk.

7. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Features that depend on third-party services (such as ads or city lookups) may be unavailable if those services are unavailable.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the astrological calculations, readings, or any content are accurate, reliable, or will meet your expectations, and we make no warranty regarding third-party services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amun Studios LLC and its owners, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the App (if any) or ten U.S. dollars (USD $10).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. In such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Amun Studios LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not subject to arbitration or small-claims resolution will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction, unless mandatory law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

13. Apple and Google App Store Terms

If you download the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Amun Studios LLC, not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or its content, and the applicable app store's terms also apply to your use. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
